Amazon.comからの公式な見解は出ているが、形式上の見解であり、実態はAJさんがおっしゃるとおり、現段階では問題なく、使えるのではないかと思いました。
アマゾンが公式で禁止と言っている理由

補足コメント
上記の部分だけをみると確かに禁止なのではないかと解釈する方もいると思います。
ただ、上記のURL内では他にも禁止事項が記載されており、アマゾンの複数アカウント所有も禁止となっています。しかし、ご存知の通り、複数アカウントを作成されている販売者も多く、
禁止事項は本音と建前で解釈する必要があると感じました。
ただ、いつアマゾンが公式に取り締まったり、アルゴリズムを変えるかわからないので、注意はしなければ、いけないですが、今のところはAJさんがコメントして頂いているように問題ないのでは？と感じました。

2019年9月22日に投稿されています。
公式見解が発表されたであろう2019年から約4年ほどの間、問題なく使えるということは今後もあまり気にしなくても、良いのかなと思いました。
